Programs

Our past programs have focused on improving public health through initiatives like the Pacific Food Champions, which promoted sustainable diets, and sports and wellness programs that encouraged physical activity and mental health. Healthy eating initiatives provided education on nutrition while addressing menstrual health through culturally appropriate support and access to products. Additionally, our work in food security, including community gardens, has enhanced local resilience and access to fresh, healthy produce, reflecting our commitment to health equity and sustainable community development.

Pacific Food Champions

The Pacific Food Champions program is a dedicated initiative to enhance health outcomes for Pacific Islander children in Far North Queensland. By promoting nutritious eating habits and physical activity, the program aims to reduce the prevalence of chronic diseases within this community.

Menstrual Health Initiative

Our menstrual health initiatives focus on delivering complimentary sanitary items to women involved in the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme. We are committed to ensuring equitable access to vital sanitary products and enhancing education to foster improved health outcomes. Through these initiatives, we aim to empower women and support their well-being in both professional and personal contexts.
