PALM Care Collective
The PALM Care Collective aims to support PALM scheme workers through targeted fundraising initiatives and partnerships with other organizations. By leveraging these partnerships, we can deliver additional workshops and resources to address the specific needs of our workers, including sexual and reproductive health. Past initiatives, such as providing menstrual pads and condoms to PALM women, have been instrumental in promoting health equity and access to essential products. As a not-for-profit incorporated entity, Pacific Integrative Health is committed to expanding our impact through collaboration, ensuring that PALM workers receive the support they need to thrive both personally and professionally.

Goal
This year, our key areas of focus include advancing menstrual health by ensuring all women have access to necessary menstrual products and are not left without. We are committed to improving sexual health by providing workers with access to contraception and regular health screenings to reduce the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Additionally, we are focused on ensuring that workers have access to drug and alcohol screening, helping to minimize the risk of related accidents and incidents on the road and in community settings. Through these targeted efforts, we aim to enhance health equity and support the overall well-being of PALM scheme workers.
01
Menstrual Health
Our menstrual wellness initiative ensures that all PALM scheme workers have access to essential menstrual products, promoting dignity and comfort. Through education and distribution programs, we address the challenges of menstrual health and reduce barriers to participation. By partnering with organizations, we strive to make menstrual products readily available, ensuring no woman is left without access.

02
Sexual Health
Our sexual health initiative provides PALM scheme workers with access to contraception, regular health screenings, and education to reduce the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and promote safe, informed choices.
03
Workshops
Our workshops equip men and women with essential life and business skills to support their reintegration and success upon returning home. By providing training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and small business management, we empower individuals to create sustainable livelihoods and contribute to their communities. For women, these skills are transformative, enabling them to start businesses that feed, educate, and uplift their families, breaking cycles of poverty. Through this investment in upskilling, we promote economic resilience and drive sustainable development across the Pacific region.
